Sliding doors

No swing, no wasted space.

Sliding doors run on a track and slide out of the way, so they suit the tightest hallways and closets, where there is no room for a door to swing.

Features

A heavy feel, a smooth glide.

Every slider is adjustable, so unevenness in walls, floors or the opening can be taken up for a properly fitting door.

  1. 01

    Ball-bearing rollers

Smooth, heavy-duty rollers for quiet, reliable operation, with a lifetime warranty.

  2. 02

    Extruded aluminum

Two-sided, corrosion-resistant aluminum tracks and a heavy-duty aluminum frame. Aluminum allows finer detail than steel.

  3. 03

    Solid backing

A premium solid back makes the door strong and impact resistant.

  4. 04

    Zero swing

Ideal where a traditional door has no room to swing into the space.

  5. 05

    Triple track option

On 3-panel sliders, a third track opens up two thirds of the closet at once.

  6. 06

    Reversible

Many configurations are available to fit all openings.

Panel count & access

Choose how much of the closet you reach.

Standard sizes come in standard panel configurations; a 48″ × 80″ slider is always 2 panels. Larger and in-between sizes may offer a choice: a 96″ slider can be made with 3 or 4 panels.

½ of the opening
2- and 4-panel sliders, fully open. Four panels suit his-and-hers closets.
⅓ of the opening
3-panel slider on the standard double track.
⅔ of the opening
3-panel slider on the optional triple track, the most access possible.

Mirror types

Frameless or framed, built for daily use.

Frameless sliders hide the frame behind a solid-backed mirror panel for a high-end, modern look.

Close-up of a polished mirror edge
Frameless, polished. A contemporary edge.
Close-up of a framed mirror edge
Framed. A border around the mirror.

Solid-backed mirrors, beveled or polished, are impact resistant and stand up to heavy use.

Framed sliders use a category 3 safety-backed mirror, held tight in the frame by a rubber gasket so it won't rattle as the door moves.

Before you order

Slider questions.

How do I measure for a slider?

Doors are made to fit a finished opening, not to the panel sizes you want. Measure the height in three places and the width in three places, and use the smallest values. CDM doors are True to Fit: we do the calculations for you.

How does the triple track install?

The top triple track comes in two pieces: the original double track, plus a third rail designed to mount upward into the header. Allow enough depth for the extra track, especially at the top.

Which track and trim colors can I choose?

Mirror panels come with chrome or white track and trim. Color panels come with chrome or a matching color. The low-profile extruded aluminum handle comes in chrome or white to match.

Slider or bifold?

Sliders suit hallways and tight spaces where no door can swing into the room. If you want access to more of the closet at once, consider a bifold.
